INVITING CURIOSITY

It's not about right or wrong, it's about space in the middle to invite curiosity.
About what it means to be human in this point of time and how can we build bridges not build walls.

Life is about learning and there is always more to learn. So we invite people into this space. We hope to appeal to your curiosity. We hope you will explore nature’s solutions. We hope we support your learning and growth on Soil - Carbon - Water - Systems - Innovation.

We want to help 1000s of flowers to bloom.

The world needs more balance. The world needs less conflict. The world needs all we good-hearted people to raise our little voices in our own little circles, to start of conversation about what is possible.

WHO ARE WE?

Let's bring it to the world

Birthed out of Healthy Soils Australia, we are a non-profit network of catalysts and synergists who work with others to provide soil related solutions to address priorities and outcomes.

For 12 years we have been guiding and supporting leaders to innovate and excel. Together working to increase the amount of land being transitioned to regenerative landscape management in Australia and globally.

We work hard to increase interest so regenerative farming can grow. We pursue resonance, to make it accessible and available to all who love growing.

Get into this amazing space, nourish what energises us, and let’s bring it more into the world.

SOLUTION FOCUS

We welcome a range of views on climate but ask that people discuss these elsewhere. Here our focus is carbon.

Farmers need it in the soil for resilience and profitability. Activists want it removed from the atmosphere and stored in the soil as part of drawdawn, one significant solution to global warming.

COMMON GOAL

The latter gives farmers and stronger social licence and the potential to capture more value from their production. The former see sequestration occurring as hoped.

So we share a common goal. So leave our differences aside and focus on soil carbon.

The key is soil carbon.

SOIL CARBON SPONGE

Every extra gram of carbon stored in the soil can hold up to 4 extra grams of water. Like a whole dam full of irrigation but just naturally, easily available. This builds resilience into the landscape.

CARBON STORAGE

Carbon gets into the soil through photosynthesis. Up to 40% of the carbon taken in by the plant is leaked through the roots into the soil and stored. By absorbing and holding water, the carbon promotes more plant growth which in turn photosynthesis more carbon into storage. And the incredible cycle continues.

We believe we need to help 1,000 flowers bloom!

There are too many of us standing in the shade of the big trees. We need to replant yourselves out to a nice field so that our collective views can have their day in the sun. The world needs more balance. The world needs less conflict. The world needs all we good hearted people to raise our individual voices in our own  circles to start of conversation about what is possible. With nature's solutions more is possible than even we can imagine.
